ECVPT trains and certifies veterinarians as specialists in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology. Training takes the form of an approved training programme of at least 3 years known as a "Residency programme". Training events (courses, workshops and meetings) are organised as part to these programmes to help graduate veterinarians ("Residents") acquire in-depth knowledge of the science and art of veterinary pharmacology and toxicology. For more information on these training events click here. ECVPT has a number of approved standard residency programmes. A tailor-made alternate residency programme can also be followed.
Read more using the Residencies menu on the left. A detailed description of the residency programme is also included in the Information brochure 2010-2011. |
