ECVPT holds resident examinations on an annual basis.

Intention to sit examinations

All applicants intending to sit or resit the general and/or certifying examinations or any part thereof in any given year must complete and return the form ‘Intention to sit examinations’. Submission of this form will ensure that the potential candidate receive all of the necessary information in relation to the credential requirements and the examinations. Completion of this form does not commit the potential candidate to taking the examination in that year. Examination venue

The examinations are held over a 2-3 day period, unless the general paper is the only part of the examination being sat, in which case this is held on one day.

The next examinations will be held in 2019.

Pass points

The pass points for the General multiple choice (MCQ) and certifying extended MCQ examinations are set using a Diplomate rating process based on the Angoff method. The pass point for the written/essay paper and for the oral objective case mamangement (OCM) paper is 60%.
